RED SEAL READY CANADA
Accessibility statement
Last reviewed August 17, 2026
Our approach
We want the Red Seal Ready Canada website to be usable with keyboards, screen readers, browser zoom, reduced-motion preferences and common mobile assistive technology. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing target. This statement is not a certification that every page or interaction fully conforms.
Accessibility features
- A skip link and main-content landmark on site and app-demo pages.
- Persistent accessibility tools for text enlargement, high contrast, link highlighting, a readable font and stopping animations.
- Keyboard-operable controls, visible focus indicators and a trapped, dismissible accessibility dialog that returns focus.
- English and French interfaces for the accessibility tools.
- Responsive layouts intended to reflow at narrow widths and at 200% browser zoom.
Testing and compatibility
We run automated semantic and source checks and manually review keyboard order, focus, contrast, reduced motion, mobile reflow and browser zoom before release. Automated checks cannot find every accessibility problem. The experience is designed for current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies with JavaScript enabled.
Known limitations
- The Canadian study and legal content is currently available in English and French only.
- Third-party sites, app stores and email services have their own accessibility practices.
- Complex timed exam interactions may require more testing with particular screen-reader and browser combinations.
Feedback and help
If something prevents you from using the site, tell us the page, device, browser, assistive technology and the task you were trying to complete. Do not include passwords, payment information or sensitive workplace information.
